Since then, we have dealt with countless tragedies of families whose lives were shaken in a flash when one of the couple passed away prematurely. We try to fill the empty space left behind, even when we are repairing air conditioners (and sometimes even helping out in a shaky financial situation), even when we take children out for a fun day, and even when we buy a widow a gift for the holiday.
