The family’s father died of a serious illness about a year ago. Six years ago she herself had cancer, but she seemed to get better … at least they thought so.
A few months ago the disease hit again. The mother was hospitalized for 6 weeks, 6 weeks in which the children were alone without father and mother. Once we learned the case, we sent lunch and dinner every day. Even after discharge from the hospital, we continued to send meals daily, but not only.
For these heroic children, we also sent gifts and treats, arranged for them to visit their mother at the hospital, clothing and footwear when needed, schoolbags … Now the mother is facing a transplant and we will stay in close contact for at least the next six months.
