Mom is not home

The mother of a large family has violent cancer.
Everyday she is in the hospital, receiving a series of debilitating treatments.
Everyday she had to drive from her home in Petah Tikva to the hospital in Jerusalem.
She contacted us when the taxi budget was overwhelming, and when she felt that her body could no longer travel.

We took care of travel, a comfortable bed waiting for her at home, hot meals for the whole family, some treats, and even a hotel in Jerusalem, in cases where she felt she would not survive a trip…
Sometimes life takes an unexpected turn and there is no way to change reality. We are at least there to make it easier.
