A certain group of Jewish mothers who pray with emotion and shed tears like water stood there among the hundreds of worshipers. “Our father, the merciful, give everyone a long life,” their lips whispered a tearful cry, oh our father, the merciful, long life, long life … No one will understand it at the same depth as they feel these words every day, month, Shabbat and holiday.
These are the mothers of our generation, and the essence and symbol of Jewish heroism.
Mothers who raise children and girls like all life challenges – but do it alone. The father of the children, a heavenly observer acting in their favor. But the difficult daily work of educating and satisfying the needs of the children – lies on their shoulders only, with no real partner in the world.
How sweet is this prayer before Hashem on this great day and in this sacred and capable place – The women are here through the veteran Nachzik Chazak organization, which they greatly appreciate.
Nachzik Chazak is an enterprise of generous Jews who have raised their flag to give strength to the widowed and orphan families, to continue to hold strong despite the fracture and the loss. Throughout the year, and especially during the Jewish holidays, when the loss is most strongly felt, crying out, the organization has embarked on a variety of original and impressive activities whose sole purpose is to provide joyous moments for families struggling in the shadow of the disaster.
On the eve of Rosh Hodesh Sivan, one of the uplifting days of the organization and its families. Many stories of this day are told emotionally, cherished by mothers and even by the dear supporters who give their hearts to this rare partnership.
In the morning, mothers gather from many locations across the country – into new buses. On the bus seat, they find a bundle of love that has been prepared just for them: a nutritious breakfast, a snack for the rest of the day, and of course – a printed Shla’s prayer.
The journey opens with the gathering of all the mothers at the grave of the Holy Shla. There, they unite for warm, excited prayer from the depths of his broken heart. Mothers who have been for years with the organization on the eve of Rosh Hodesh Sivan, meet new comers who have just joined Nachzik Chazak, which supports them from the beginning every step of the way.
The continuation of this great day is an uninterrupted thought and desire to fill the body and mind with as many essential charges as possible. The mothers are gathered in one of the luxury hotels for lunch.
A fascinating and powerful lecture was given to the mothers by Rabbanit Berlinsky, who, with her powerful words, brought forth countless sources and stories, which illustrate the central and important role of the mother. Mothers said honestly that they were heartbroken, new to this challenging life journey, which the Creator of the world has given them.
